Physical Restrictions Holding You Back?

“I want to play with my newborn grandson, but when I sit on the floor with him I have trouble getting back up.”

“I love to golf, but my back is so stiff that it restricts my technique and I feel sore every time I play.”

Is a lack of mobility or strength holding you back from doing what you love?

A well rounded routine is something everyone can benefit from to help preserve well-rounded abilities. Usually deficiencies in your routine end up leading to deficiencies in your strength or mobility since most of your abilities are “use it or or lose it”.

  1. First we look at the activities you want to do to determine what the strength and mobility requirements are to do those activities.

  2. Perform a movement assessment to see your own strength and mobility capabilities as well as understanding your underlying biomechanical structure.

  3. Perform a gaps analysis to see where your movement gaps are the largest and create a game plan to close those gaps.

  4. Once you have recaptured all the prerequisites for those activities, everything after that is just a matter of improving your motor control to bring it all together.
